While the price is tempting in these strapping markets, choose wisely upon purchasing these rounds. I splurged on 200 plus rounds of this product, while it seemed a great deal it came with its shortcomings. Luckily the Marines taught us to police our brass or I’d never known of the overcharged rounds that loomed in these packs. While they all weren’t overcharged, it still presented a problem with jamming my rifle and caused lost time. I tried to research if these were genuine new loads or reloads but could find no definitive answers, although there were some suggestions that they might. So I’ll assume they’re new loads. Sadly I still have about 80 more rounds loaded in my mags that remain uncertain and that’s a concern. Blown primers, overcharged primers and some fail to fire is a serious concern. So be warned of these Czech Republic rounds STV. I guess I’ll go back on my PMC stash that never gave issues. One more thing, on just 60 rounds the BCG was fouled with more carbon deposits that other rounds, perhaps that is the overcharge in play. The bits on the blue towel are the primer bits that find its way into the BCG and cause jams with extraction failure & light primer strikes.
